The Nokia 6131 features a true color display with it’s internal 23m color active TFT screen and an external screen with 262k ative TFT. It has a 1.3 mp camera with 8x zoom and both screens can act as viewfinders. Memory can be upgraded to 2gb via a microSD card. An mp3 player and FM stereo is also on board.

64-chord/voice polyphonic MIDI ringtones are supported by the Nokia 6131 along with a MP3 player supporting formats including MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, H.263, H.264. Java games and downloads are also supported.
